This is my new blog for me to post the stories of the people of Tapria, my Sims 2 neighborhood under The Royal Kingdom Challenge. I have been playing this neighborhood for a year now so I have a lot to catch up on.
Please start by reading about each family in the ‘Families of Tapria’ Category to the left. Once you are familiar with the history of each family you will be ready to start reading the story!
You can read Part 1 of the Prologue, Part 2, and Part 3 . The current stories about Tapria have started! Go to the ‘Kingdom of Tapria Story’ category to the left to read the most recent update.
Next update is here!!!! You can now read more stories of Tapria!

I love this story! I just found it, and had started reading, only to find that there have been no updates since August… hope you get the motivation to write again! I love medival stories, and this is one of the best I’ve seen.

Thanks for reading my story!
The main reason I haven’t updated since August is because I started at a new university at the end of that month and haven’t really had a chance to play the Sims 2 since then. However my finals are the first full week in December and the next semester doesn’t start until January 16th or something. So over winter break I should have some time to play the Sims and continue my story. I really miss all my RKC Sims so I’m looking forward to playing again.

That’s interesting. My university’s schedule is just like that — exam week is the first full week in December and we start back again on Jan. 16. Nifty.
I love your story too, by the way!

I just read your blog about a week ago, which rather inspired me to start an RKC of my own.
I’d love to read how Vladimir rules the land and the good peasantry, merchants, and nobles alike. ^^ Your pictures are inspiring.

Hi Carrie… just wanted to pop my head in and check out your blog again. I read it a while ago and have downloaded a whole heap of your lovely clothes but I guess I wasn’t much of a commenter back then. Sorry about that =(. But now I have really gotten into the whole sims blogging scene and I wanted to say I think your blog is wonderful. Every one of your pictures is so beautiful! I do hope you post again when you get some time but I totally understand the busyness of uni =). If you do though I can’t wait to find out what happens next in Tapria.

((peeks in)) Wow, quite a story you have here! It’s a shame about being busy and obligations getting in the way, but completely understandable. I found this link due to your comments on Verity’s site… and I’ll definitely be checking back periodically to see if you’ve found some time for an update!

The Royal Kingdom Challenge is free. You don’t have to download anything other than any custom content you want to fit the time preiod you choose although you could do a modern kingdom if you don’t want to download anything. To find more about the rules visit the BBS post : http://tinyurl.com/kl6lq you can also join the RKC yahoo group to discuss the challenge with others who are playing it: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/royal_kingdom_challenge/ You can also see the rules and download content at my site Fanciful Sims: http://www.fancifulmind.com/sims/index.htm

I actualy made up the challenge myself about a year and 1/2 ago. All you need to play the challenge is The Sims 2 and a little creativity (some downloaded custom content helps but isn’t nessisary). Check out the links in the comment above (#9) to learn more about it!

Ginger – I created my clothing using Bodyshop which comes with The Sims 2 and a photo editor. I started out using ‘Microsoft Picture It’ which came with my computer but now I have ‘Adobe Photoshop’ so I use that. There are already some great tutorials that will help you make your own clothes for your sims. Look here for some tutorials: http://www.modthesims2.com/forumdisplay.php?f=249
Good luck!

Hi. I just thought I would finally make a comment on this site and say this blog was the first one I’ve ever read (I read your prolouge in November 2006 I think?)
Now I’m reading lots more thanks to your links bar.
So I thought I’d say keep up the good work on your clothes and things and I hope you will continue your story soon.

Quite a blog! Quite a challenge! Quite an imaginative girl! Pardon my poor English, I’m from Croatia, too. Just want to tell you that I’ve been playing your challenge for a while and I’m having such a fun! If only I had more time to play! But with two kids fighting for their time to play… Thanks for sharing your great idea with us. I shared the rules for TRKC to some of my friends and they are loving the game just as much as I do. So, Croatia loves You!

I am creating my own kingdom using costumes from All About Style, a castle from Mod The Sims 2, and my own manors, cottages, and townhouses… I’ll set my story up using the sims2.com BBS
